Staff Associate - Anchorage, AK

Military Ministry:In this position, you will work with the area director to lead and oversee the overall Military Community Youth Ministry program, which is ecumenically-focused and outreach-oriented. * As a staff associate person (three-year commitment), you are an important role model for teens — setting a personal example of living for Jesus Christ.
* A staff associate will have an appointed area director as their supervisor.
* The mission and role of a staff associate is to serve and support their area director in the development of an effective military youth ministry at their installation.
* A staff associate will accomplish their mission by mobilizing and equipping leaders in the skills necessary to meet the installation ministry needs and to ensure ministry alignment with the vision and mission ofMCYM(Military Community Youth Ministries). Qualifications:
* Should be passionate about your relationship with Christ, ready to learn how to serve and love military kids, and excited about trying out new opportunities.
* Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
* Self-starter.
* Previous ministry experience as a volunteer is preferred.
* College degree preferred.

Jobs Senior Teller - Tucson July 2012

Jobs Descriptions
Provide leadership for the teller line to ensure efficiency and high quality member service.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Present a professional, positive and friendly personality to ensure exceptional service.
  • Direct teller line operations.
  • Load and audit Teller Cash Dispensers (TCD’s).
  • Perform required monthly cash and Traveler’s Check Audits.
  • Create and monitor daily teller staffing schedules, accommodating pre-approved and non-scheduled time off requiring backup personnel.
  • Assist Branch Manager with performance evaluations, DECA grade evaluations, and corrective action when necessary; handle basic conflict resolution under direction of Branch Manager.
  • Evaluate and coordinate training needs of tellers; communicate effectively with Tellers to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Serve as positive role model and mentor tellers; motivate tellers to maximize performance.
  • Ensure branch is supplied with appropriate amount of cash; order cash as needed.
  • Coordinate daily balancing of ATMs; balance branch vault nightly; coordinate branch balancing nightly.
  • Exercise good judgment when reviewing check holds and overrides.
  • Perform all functions relating to teller duties.


OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the processing of mail deposits and night depository.
  • Handle currency buys and sells for all tellers.
  • Ship out excessive coin and currency.
  • Approve checks presented for deposit or cashing.
  • Cross sell credit union products and services.
  • Order supplies as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as required or needed.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • A working knowledge of teller operations.
  • A strong knowledge of TFCU Policies, Procedures, Products and Services.
  • Knowledge of the principles of member service and problem solving to include needs assessment, exceptional experiences and evaluation of member satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical and their applications.
  • Knowledge of the English language, sentence structure, proper grammar and spelling of words.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite products and basic Internet browsing.
  • Ability to operate a keyboard and 10 key calculator.
  • Ability to provide input to Branch Manager regarding teller performance, hiring, firing, and corrective action.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.

Minimum two years of financial institution experience.

CABINET CRAFTSMAN / FINISH CARPENTER

This is a 1st shift Temp-to Hire Opportunity.

Produce or assemble components for cabinets, or high-grade furniture.
Ability to verify dimensions or check the quality or fit of pieces to ensure adherence to specifications.
Set up or operate machines, including power saws, jointers, mortises, tenoners, molders, or shapers, to cut, mold, or shape woodstock or wood substitutes.
Measure and mark dimensions of parts on lumber stock prior to cutting, following blueprints, to ensure a tight fit and quality product.


Looking for individuals with HS diploma & 5+ years woodworking experience. A negative Drug Screen and Criminal Background check required for this opportunity.

Set up, operate, and adjust a variety of woodworking machines such as bandsaws and planers to cut and shape sections, parts, and patterns, according to specifications.

Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces, and plane, shave, file, scrape, and sand models to attain specified shapes, using hand tools.
