Children’s Librarian - East Hampton Public Library is seeking an individual with demonstrated supervisory experience and familiarization with the operation of children’s library services. This is a full-time position. Duties include, but are not limited to planning, developing and executing programs designed to interest children; provide outreach and in-library services; supervise staff and volunteers; prepare statistics, reports, publicity requests and work circulation desk as needed. Position requires strong knowledge of technology frameworks used to deliver library services in a growing community with changing needs. Strong interpersonal skills with all age groups are essential. Two years in a lead role delivering public services with MLS or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. The schedule includes flexible hours throughout the week for approximately ten to twelve hours per week.
