Job Description
Counterinsurgency Advisory & Assistance Teams (CAAT) Police/Law Enforcement Advisor.
The Police/Law Enforcement Advisor provides reliable and frequent expert advice on matters pertaining to the integration of law enforcement (LE) capabilities into COIN doctrine, operations and theory.
The Police Advisor shall interface with both international and host nation LE elements to enable relevant analysis and recommendations to the CAAT Commander on police©\related issues at the local/village, district, provincial and national levels.

The Police Advisor shall provide analysis and recommended courses of action including, but not limited to community©\based policing, police training, equipment, and manpower;
synchronization of the nations police forces with the military for operational efficiency, and assessment and impact of the counter narcotics initiatives currently underway in the AF©\PAK Area of Operations.
 
Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of 10 years experience at senior level positions with United States Federal or State Police agencies, or equivalent coalition partner nation expertise.
This position requires recent and direct experience in training foreign LE forces (in Iraq or Afghanistan), working with Afghan National level police agencies and a firm understanding of US inter©\agency and ISAF operations and procedures.
This position requires superior communications skills and experience working daily with General Officers or equivalents on operational or administrative elements.
TS/SCI is required.
