Job Description: PASTOR OF WORSHIP AND STUDENTS Full-time w/ benefits (50 hr/wk) (position may be part-time and focus mainly on students - this would reflect in no benefits) Reports to Staff Supervisor

Qualifications
● Member of Calvary Church
● Meets the qualifications of an elder
● Excellent people skills and ability to work in a team environment
● Education and experience in related field is preferred

General Expectations
● Give general pastoral care
● Maintain flexible fulltime working hours
● Concentrate on empowering others to do ministry
● Demonstrate a team spirit in partnership with other staff and ministries
● Oversee, evaluate, and expand Calvary’s worship ministry and ministry to middle school and high school students

Specific Responsibilities
WORSHIP GATHERINGS (take ownership immediately)
● Oversee worship gathering planning in collaboration with appropriate staff
● Organize music for weekly worship gatherings
● Recruit, organize, and equip musicians and bands to lead worship
● Steward the worship arts budget

STUDENTS (begin working alongside current youth pastor, take ownership by Fall 2014)
● Oversee weekly middle school and high school student small groups
● Recruit and train adult mentors to lead small groups
● Implement trips, retreats, and other events when strategic
● Steward the student ministries budget
