Sean Campbell with Aerotek is representing a large engineering consulting firm in the Portland area. They are seeking qualified candidates for multiple openings as Revit modelers. His client works on large industrial and commercial projects ranging from schools to manufacturing plants. These positions consist of drafters and designers and will be in their structural department.

Candidates from architectural or structural background are preferred. Candidates must also possess 2+ years of Revit experience in a production environment. There will be a Revit test at the interview. Pay is dependent upon experience.

Structure - BIM Modeler - Kuwait

Projacs International, an International Project Management firm (ranked 12 in ENR listing) based in Kuwait is seeking to fill immediate positions for experienced BIM modelers.

Job Description

• Production of structural BIM models (LOD 100 -LOD 500), generation of 2D drawings, extracting BOQ from the model and BIM model checking/coordination and related aspects for multi-disciplined construction projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• May include the following items and other tasks as needed:
• Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines model changes /perform clash detection.
• Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
• Follow BIM content standards and development procedures.

Requirements

• Proficient in Revit Structure 2012, Tekla, Autodesk Navisworks as well as 2D CAD and other 3D visualization and simulation applications.
• Sound knowledge of engineering design principles and an understanding of construction methods and processes.
• Minimum 3-5 years of BIM model production experience.
• Minimum of three (3) BIM projects that involve complex, multiphase , large scale buildings.
• Professional degree in Structure is preferred. Candidates with less experience may apply for a different position of BIM Technician.

Job Description
We are seeking a Structural Designer for governmental facility projects using Autodesk's Revit Structural software. Work involves a variety of BIM activities including system layout and design, family creation, management of the BIM central file, and coordination with Merrick's BIM Coordinator. Knowledge of Bentley 3D BIM software would be considered a plus.

Required Experience

• Experience with Autodesk's Revit Structural is required.
• Experience with Structural design of governmental (Military, GSA, etc) facilities is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCad is preferred.

Contract Position Wanted: Revit Structure/Architecture

I am currently seeking a position for Revit Structure or Revit Architecture implementation. My past experience includes training and implementation on both software platforms on a national level. The ideal position would allow me to telecommute as much as practical in a flexible and creative work environment.
