To produce expert level typed word processing documents. Produce, edit and design graphic documents and/or a combination of graphic and text documents. Help maintain the sequence of work flow for the Office Services Department. Maintain all standard operating procedures. Learn new software packages, as needed.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain graphics for pictorial investigator manual library. This includes the skilled use of graphics software such as CorelDraw, Visio, and PowerPoint. The process includes the ability to use, edit, and create graphics as needed by specific studies. Maintain global liaison between our companies Clinical Trials, Van Nuys and our Clinical Trials, Europe with graphic investigator manuals.
2. Able to develop/draw graphics of new tubes, sample collection containers, shipping boxes, instructions, etc. for graphic investigator manuals. Create, edit and maintain graphics to Project Leader/Client specifications, as needed by the changing of supplies and instructions within each specific study.
3. Produce daily word processing duties, such as investigator manuals, variables, complex specimen labels, Excel spreadsheets, Access databases, PowerPoint presentations, and special projects.
4. Create secondary translated documents in foreign languages as needed by either using in-house translation software or outsourcing to Corporate Translation.
5. Maintain workflow and production timelines for Office Services department.
6. Maintain responsibility for individually assigned special projects.
7. Produce graphics of airbills, declaration of dangerous goods and other various logistics documents to instruct clients of logistical needs and specialized shipping requirements for studies.
8. Scan, edit and customize documents to meet the specifications of the client.
9. Assist Office Manager with quality control and other projects, as needed.
10. Assist other company Clinical Trials Managers with special projects, as needed.
11. Prepare individual monthly report detailing metrics, special projects, and accomplishments.
12. Produce mailing lists as needed for mailing special notifications to clients participating in certain studies.
Qualifications:
1. High School diploma.
2. Four years of word processing experience using Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint).
3. Must have graphics experience and the ability to edit complex graphics embedded within technical Word documents (CorelDraw, Visio, PowerPoint).
4. Must have the ability to learn new software programs quickly to enhance documentation and production within the department.
5. Must have an excellent command of the English language – written, oral, and excellent grammar skills, due to the technical nature of the documents being typed.
6. Typing speed 60-70+ wpm with accuracy.
7. Must have good public relations skills and be self-motivated.
