Job Description
Ensure the security of the Engineering network by following best practice for network security design.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze Engineering network designs from a security perspective.
- Assist in the design and evaluation of new security solutions.
- Develop and document procedures for access control and monitoring device and network access.
- Assist in the development and documentation of security policy, standards, procedures and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to security issues.
- Technical liaison with vendors and O&M to ensure delivery of effective security solutions.
- Ensure effective logging on Unix and Windows systems (connections, users, commands).
- Keep up to date with the latest security alerts, advisories and bulletins.Ensure that best quality practices are followed in all areas of Engineering network security.
- Develop and produce reports on the security performance of the Engineering network.
- Analyze security reports and produce recommendations for improvement to established security practices and policies.
- Maintain a database of Engineering network security vulnerabilities.
- Assist in the investigation of network security breaches
