Security Manager - Myanmar

Job purpose:
The Security Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of security guidelines and procedures in order to ensure the security of all Plan staff, property erty and operations. This will involve, involve but is not limited to: Promoting romoting a culture of security
  • Security incident reporting
  • Monitoring M the e security situation in Myanmar
  • Maintaining and monitoring the compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Providing inductions and regular updates update on security to all Plan staff
  • Provid roviding security briefing for all visitors
  • Supervise the Security Officer tasks task and responsibilities ies
  • Liaise with the UNDSS and others
  • Managing anaging day-to-day operations of security management i.e. guard oversight/direction
  • Identification, dentification, documentation and reporting of security risks and incidents
  • Ensuring staff/vehicle taff/vehicle movement control contr
  • Response esponse to all security threats/incidents in a timely, professional and appropriat appropriate manner
  • Conducting security assessments in Plan operational locations
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Experience:
  • At least 3-5 years experience in security management
  • Good understanding of in-country country security related issues and their relation to Plan's work
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and setting objectives/plans plans of action to address security gaps
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). verbal)
