Job description:
The Onboarding Program Manager is responsible for establishing the corporate strategy for onboarding new employees across the globe. This position will be responsible for building strong partnerships throughout the organization; designing and implementing effective strategies; managing and reporting onboarding metrics and analytics; and leading and growing the company’s onboarding programs and strategies that support and accelerate new hire assimilation. Additionally, the Program Manager may drive the corporate strategy for ongoing talent related communications and may be involved with or responsible for the Diversity and Inclusion Program efforts, as part of the overall scope of the role.
Responsibilities:
Manage onboarding programs from pre-hire through first full cycle performance review, including the following, but not limited:
1.Manage KLA-Tencor’s KT Insight Program designed to reinforce who the Company is, where we’re headed and what we expect from employees, accelerate understanding of the KLA-Tencor culture, provide new hires with an opportunity to interact with executive team and other new hires.
2.Develop and maintain best practice global onboarding guidelines, procedures, practices, systems, and methodology.
3.Develop and or improve all other onboarding activities before and beyond first day new hire orientation and the KT Insight Program through a variety of inputs determine the best practice gaps, employee needs, opportunities, innovations and determine strategic plan to reach desired state.
4.Develop KT Insight web site and journey map to take program messages to all employees globally.
5.Identify other areas for improved employee communication regarding talent, through onboarding programs
6.Establish new metrics and create reports for leadership
7.Manage onboarding budget
8.Work with subject matter experts and onboarding program partners to keep onboarding materials fresh
9.Ensure continued program health and relevancy as the organization grows ensuring the program stays current with organizational needs globally
10.Drive the assessment and selection of potential vendors and their products. In some cases, manage the ongoing relationship.
11.Obtain resources, expertise, and commitment from the onboarding stakeholders to execute on program elements both within and outside of HR.
12.Travel required - 20%-30%
Preferred Qualifications:Desired qualifications include:
Detail-oriented, superior organizational and planning skills, results-oriented, self-motivated, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, conflict management skills, superior verbal and written skills, ability to building and lead cross functional teams and stakeholders, ability to use knowledge, creativity, and interpersonal skills to obtain solutions to complex problems.
1.BS degree in HR, OD, instructional design, related field, or equivalent experience.
2.8-10 years’ experience, 5+ years project management experience, preferably in onboarding, employee communication, and Diversity and Inclusion programs.
3.Ability to work effectively in a fast pace environment, complete tasks independently, and remain flexible in response to changing priorities
Exhibit large scale project management, people management, time management, organizational skill, and business acumen
4.Perform and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
5.Ability to persuade and influence decision makers
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
OR
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience.
