*Education/Experience:*
An honorable discharge and a minimum of 10 years of active military experience in special operations, infantry, or intelligence with a focus on information collection, reporting, ground operations, and working with, advising, and training of foreign troops. Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to completion of high school some college course work preferred, with a, minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsible experience. Preferably military special operations or in military police operations and/or prior law enforcement. Individual must have experience operating in areas with limited life cycle support in hardship conditions.
· A high level of maturity and the mental and physical capacity to operate autonomously in an austere environment for extended periods of time.
· Familiarization with the organization, tactics, and weapon systems of military units at the brigade-level and below.
· Exceptional map reading and navigation skills.
· Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).
· Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

*Summary of Duties/Responsibilities:* Monitor checkpoints, military garrisons, crossing points, entry/exit points, and aerial points of embarkation and debarkation; monitor disengagement, regrouping, and cantonment of forces; identify location and type of weapons and weapons systems; maintain liaison with and between parties to a conflict, NGOs, international organizations, and other civilian agencies; assist humanitarian agencies conducting food distribution points and convoys, medical supplies and establishments, and the like; and provide support to peace processes, reconciliation, early warning, security sector reform, and analysis and guidance of conflict management and mitigation practices.
