Job Summary Military information support

task force - Afghanistan (MISTF-A); this

effort is to provide military information

support operations, product research,

development, production and

dissemination; product assessment,

polling, surveys and focus groups; mobile

information teams deployment; plans and

development for future missions.

The Civil-Military Operation Officer will

ensure consistency of CMO activities in

the IP domain, provide cultural advice

and analysis of Information Operations

(IO) impact on the target audience, and

facilitate interagency coordination,

intergovernmental coordination, and

coordination with nongovernmental

organizations.

* Coordinates with external staffs and

counterpart elements for required

authorities, plan approval and operation

execution and integration.

* Facilitates interagency coordination,

intergovernmental coordination and

coordination with nongovernmental

organizations.





Minimum Requirements Required

Experience:

* Equivalent to GS-13 / NATO A4.

* Minimum 5 years' experience with civil

affairs/civil-military operations.

* Excellent written, oral, and

interpersonal skills at the General Officer

or Senior Executive level.

* Must disclose business interests,

commercial relationships, or real property

owned in Southwest, Southeast and

Central Asia and in U.S.

telecommunications companies to

prevent conflict of interest.

Education/Clearance Requirements:

* DoD SECRET clearance. TS may be

required.
