Children’s Librarian, Teen Services (Full time) - The East Hartford Public Library is looking for an enthusiastic, tech-savvy teen services librarian to join our customer service-focused staff as we begin a major renovation and expansion of our library. Responsibilities include: develop and conduct programs for teens and tweens, maintain teen collection, provide readers advisory and reference assistance, plan and teach instructional technology classes. Ability to effectively use social media for library marketing, especially Facebook and Pinterest, preferred. Knowledge of SIRSI and website updating a plus. MLS required and three years’ experience in public libraries preferred. This is a full-time position, thirty-five hours a week including one night and a regular Saturday rotation.
