Position Description
Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Theater Information Assurance Security Officer (TIASO) to support enterprise security environments by ensuring the deployed IASOs are utilizing the vast array of IA tools such as Host Base Security System (HBSS), Retina, H/F Netcheck, QTIP, LanGuard, BlueScope
Tool suite, and Retina Enterprise Manager (REM). The TIASO will conduct audits of the enterprise and base level LANs utilizing the tools above as well as a multitude of Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention suites.

Basic Qualifications: Applicant must meet all in order to be considered for this position.
* BS Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or related technical or management discipline.
* Minimum eight (8) years demonstrated/practical hands-on experience in Systems or Networking and at least 5 years of experience in Information Assurance.
* DOD 8570 IAT level 3 required: CISSP, GCIH, GSE or SCNA


The Theater Information Assurance Security Officer (TIASO) should be experienced in:
* Integration of information systems into a physical security environment; System methodologies, such as: client server, web hosting, web content servers, policy servers, directory servers.
* Detect and prevent computer security compromises
* Assist with Certification and Accreditation (DIACAP) requirements and processes
* Configuration management; system maintenance; and integration testing
* Prevention and or negation of malicious code
* Resolution of disclosure of classified information (DCI) and cross domain violations (CDV)
* Understanding of GOTS/COTS tools that scan at the physical layer of all media types including but not limited to: (CDs, hard drives, floppies and Zip/Jazz).
* Cross Domain Solutions knowledge and DCID 6/3 Knowledge
* Computer operating systems to include but not limited to: (Microsoft Windows XP, VISTA, WIN7 and UNIX)
* Strong ability to elicit, articulate and document information in a well-organized manner.
* Strong understanding of all operational platforms; i.e. Microsoft, UNIX, CISCO, etc.
* Knowledge of DOD and Joint policies, procedures and operating instructions.
* Minimum Degree Required: BS Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or related technical or management discipline.

Required:
* Ability to meet medical requirements to deploy OCONUS
* Ability to work in fast paced environment.
* Active DoD Secret security clearance
