Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Master Black Belt (MBB) to support our ARCENT G8 Customer in Afghanistan.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Facilitates the achievement of significant
(enterprise) projects by leading and/or directing projects
• Develops the organization's ability to efficiently execute improvement projects.
• Helps plan and launch new methodologies as applicable according to business needs.
• Coaches and mentors Green Belts and Black Belts through to successful project completion.
• Develops and deploys organizational metrics and dashboards.
• Drives project identification and prioritization process.
• Performs analytical studies and evaluate customer input on overall process to continuously improve the functional processes related to business process improvement and customer support,
• Facilitates information sharing associated with assigned program areas
• Ensures the efficient and effective use of resources to achieve assigned program's objectives.
• Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: DMAIC(Design, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), DFSS (Design for Six Sigma)/DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify), and Kaizen/Lean principles.

Additional Requirements:
• Ability to successfully complete the CGI Federal Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
• Experience leading small groups.
• Experience working with a Major Command.
• Experience working with Senior Military and Civilian Leadership.
• Ability to obtain a Kuwait Work Visa.
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• LSS Certification required.
• Possession of a SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment;
• Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screening test prior to hiring and continue to pass random drug screening tests annually.
• Ability to travel up to 25% or less.

Physical Demands:
Certain operations may require the individual to lift and move computer and other equipment of approximately 50 lbs in weight, as well as being able to push a wheeled dolly with multiple computer systems loaded. The individual must be able to perform duties in extreme weather (dusty, arid, high and low temperature). Travel may also be required to support contingency military operations in remote/austere physical environments. Position may require bending, kneeling, or crawling to get to cables under and behind furniture.
The individual is required to be in good health and be able to pass medical examinations as dictated by the U.S. Army.

Work Environment:
Work environment is typically indoors in an office environment. However, some outdoor work may be required in austere conditions (dusty, extreme heat or cold). Certain operations may require 24 hour support. Accordingly, individuals may be assigned to work during non-routine shifts, and long hours and other duties as required.
