Security Mgr 2B

Employer: L-3 Communications 
Location: Tikrit Iraq
Security responsibilities for OCONUS locations including procedures for protection of personnel, proprietary, materials, and information as dictated by company policy and the NISPOM; Oversight of the subcontracted Security Services as well as monitoring the living conditions and security status. Conducts security assessments, provided daily briefings and site audits as required. Investigates
security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive/corrective action to be taken. Acts as Security Lead on site supporting the PMO and liaison to the Security Team located in Madison, MS. The candidate must be flexible and may be expected to assist in secondary duties as required by the PMO.



Additional experience needed but not limited to:
Processes personnel security indoctrinations and training. Performs and facilitates credentialing of all site company employees and sponsored visitors. Maintains lock and key /control and records. Processes visit authorizations for employees and company sponsored visitors. Provides support to Communication Security (COMSEC) Administrator, receives inventories and ships COMSEC as required. Issuing new employee and guest badges or identification cards as needed.

Qualifications:
3-5 years with related Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice, Industrial Security or related field, and/or 10 years commensurate experience with OCONUS SW Asia Military Operations. Must be able to obtain and maintain at least an interim Top Secret Clearance with at least five years experience in industrial security or a related field. Recent management experience is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and positive attitude dealing with the industrial security customer base perspective employees. In addition to security related functions, working knowledge in the field of IT, logistics management or supply/material handling is desirable. Must be Proficient in the use of Microsoft OS as well as MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
