Position Description
We seek a security professional. The successful candidate will implement company policy, procedures, processes and programs for safeguarding people, property and information, and ensuring compliance with all related Company and Statutory requirements. The candidate will assist in providing Protection
Services throughout Asia to identified executive personnel within the company and distinguished visitors. The candidate will be able to consult advice and supply technical expertise to assess risk. The successful candidate will be able to provide guidance and solve problems related to company information security, industrial security, investigations export compliance, emergency disaster preparedness, crisis management, computing security and other special projects including security coordination and support of regional air shows and exhibitions. He or she will be able to develop office and residential security plans, interface with alarm vendors, conduct pre-event advance visits, accompany traveling principles and create detailed after-action reports. The successful candidate must be able to develop a strong working relationship with local, national and international law enforcement agencies, conduct investigations involving compromise and sensitive data, fraud, workplace violence as well as other violations of company rules by employees. The candidate will be flexible as the duties and responsibilities are subject to change as per the dynamic risk environment and corresponding management requirements.

Skills and Knowledge: A sound understanding and knowledge of the practices and principles associated with risk analysis and assessment. This would include the development of robust risk management programs for a range of business-related issues that impact on an organization's strategic and operational-level crisis and security management capability.

Experience: The candidate will have held a responsible position, preferably within a law enforcement or government agency in the region, and/or as a professional security practitioner with commercial experience for a minimum of ten years.

Personal Skills: The candidate must possess a strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior management, business clients, colleagues and external parties.

The position will be located at our Tokyo office; however the person will have additional regional responsibilities for the broader Asia Pacific region as and when needed.

The duties and responsibilities are subject to change per management requirements.

Typical Education/Experience
1.Qualified to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a Security Risk Management discipline. 2.The successful candidate will have a multi disciplinary background with a high level of skills and ability to operate with minimum supervision.

THIS REQUISITION IS FOR A ONE YEAR CONTRACT AS AN INTERNATIONAL, LOCALLY HIRED PERSON. Contract extension will be based on candidate performance and business requirements.
