The Department of Natural Sciences (DNS) invites resumes for a nine month, full-time, tenure track position beginning August, 2013. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualification.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate physics courses at all levels and to develop an externally funded research program that will involve both undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teaching, research and service. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Ph.D. required preferably in experimental physics with demonstrated high quality undergraduate teaching experience using contemporary technologies. Ability to get along with others required. Ability to accept and work in the United States required. Note: Individuals with degrees outside of the US may be subject to verification. Verification of degree is the responsibility of the candidate.
