TT Astro *AER choice* at Boise State

The Department of Physics at Boise State University seeks an observational astronomer with a passion for, and record of success in, teaching and public outreach for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, starting August 2014.  A B.S. degree in Physics and a Ph.D. degree in Astronomy (observational) or Astronomy Education are strongly preferred.  The successful candidate must be able to develop an externally funded research program, preferably in observational astronomy, that engages undergraduates. Of equal importance is the ability to be an exceptional teacher, inspire and mentor students, and engage the public in astronomy related outreach programs.   Excellent spoken and written communication skills are a must.  See www.boisestate.edu/physics for more details.
