WebMD Storage Operations looking for a Storage Architect/Senior Storage Administrator to efficiently design, implement and manage their storage infrastructure which includes EMC VMAX, VNX, Clariion, Celerra and Brocade FC switches. The candidate will be responsible for
-Design robust, high-level SAN solutions with reliable, scalable, highly available and secure components
-Storage analysis, capacity planning and performance monitoring
-Recommends and implements standards, procedures, and performs routine system changes after appropriate approvals
-Insures overall quality and availability of enterprise storage
-Takes part in day to day operations such as storage provisioning, code upgrades, and weekly oncall rotations
-Very good understanding of emerging technologies and do due through diligence before implementation
-Automate various repetitive storage tasks
-Sense of urgency for issue resolution and provide root cause analysis
-Understanding of cloud and object-based storage solutions
-Manage multiple high priority projects and tasks simultaneously
-Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team or independently under minimal direction

Qualifications:
Required Skills
-6+ year’s experience in design and implementation of enterprise storage solutions
-Advanced understanding of storage concepts and excellent experience on VMAX, VNX, VPLEX, Clariion, Celerra, PowerPath and related technologies
-Advanced understanding of SAN concepts and excellent experience with ED/DS Brocade switches and Connectrix Manager
-Comfortable working with SYMCLI and Naviseccli
-Monitor the performance of various storage components and the ability to setup notifications when the thresholds are violated
-Check the release notes, co-ordinate with various teams for code upgrades during given maintenance windows
-Advanced understanding of FAST, FAST Cache, Thin Luns/Pools, RAID Groups, Disk types
-Advanced understanding of VMAX TF Snap/Clones, VNX Local/Remote Protection, SRDF, Celerra Replicator, BCV, De-duplication
-Advanced understanding of CIFS, NFS, pNFS, Rsync, TCP/IP Concepts, and I/O Subsystems
-Advanced knowledge in Redhat Linux, MS Windows 2008, VMware ESX and vCenter and Multipathing technologies
-Experience with SPA and Storage Management Products
-Must have vendor management experience and have worked in a distributed environment
Preferred Skills
-Ability to automate using Shell, Perl, Python or Powershell scripts
-HP Storage Essentials
-Understanding of Oracle, MS SQL Databases, MS Share point, Stornext
-Experience with MAC OS on enterprise level and handled video data
-Experience with backup products such as EMC Avamar, Data Domain, and Networker
-Understanding of IBM/HP Blade Center Technologies
