Position: Entry Level Research Scientist
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: Full Time
Job Description:
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and improving algorithms required for computational lithography software. The software currently solves modeling equations for many physical effects relevant to photolithography, including Fourier optics, Maxwell equations, time-dependent reaction-diffusion, and surface evolution. Ideal candidate for this position will have knowledge and experience with design and analysis of numerical algorithms for solving several different classes of equations. For example, finite difference and finite volume discretization of partial differential equations (elliptic, hyperbolic, and parabolic), solution of large sets of linear algebraic equations via both direct and iterative methods, and level-set representation and evolution of 3D surface shapes. Candidate should also work well in a team environment
Qualifications:
Candidate must have a PhD degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related fields with an emphasis in algorithm design and analysis. The ideal candidate will be proficient in C and/or C++, and familiar with object-oriented programming. Candidate must be self-driven, yet a strong team player.
Basic Qualifications:
PhD in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
