Multimedia Archivist - The Knights of Columbus - the world’s largest lay Catholic organization with 1.8 million members worldwide - has an immediate opening for a multimedia archivist at its International Headquarters in New Haven, Connecticut. Responsibilities include: Maintaining digital archives of photographs, and AV material. Digitizing material not yet in that format, as well as arrangement, description and preservation of the original material. Consolidating photo/AV archival material from various departments in house. Maintaining a searchable multimedia database. Must be able to coordinate with various in house departments and external vendors on deadline oriented projects. A degree in information science or library science or equivalent with courses in archival studies and three years of related experience required. MIS or MLS preferred.
