Must have skills:

• Java 1.5+,
• Spring Framework,
• J2EE - JSP, Servlets, JSTL, Tag Libraries, etc.
• Java and J2EE Design Patterns
• Database Concepts and SQL (preferably on Oracle DB),
• Web Application Frameworks – Spring MVC or Struts,
• ORM Tools –Hibernate or iBatis
• Web Services
• JUnit
• Java/J2EE based web and application development& support
• Hands on Experience with SQL Development

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Strong problem solving skills: able to logically break down a problem into smaller manageable parts to solve.
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal assistance
• Works with the client independently to understand requirements.
• Design & Develop Code/Modules based on requirements.
• Create documentation of projects worked on for maintenance and future training purposes.
• Lead the development team of 3-4 developers

Nice to have skills:

• 6-8 years experience required. Skills and Competencies.
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.

Role and Responsibilities
This is an advanced level information technology contractor position.
