Looking for a Revit MEP Specialist?

I know a Revit MEP savvy person that is seeking fresh challenges. Currently working as a firm's BIM Specialist this guru's roots extend from mechanical design (HVAC). Said guru got started with Revit 2008, a few years before many firms were brave enough to undertake using Revit MEP for their project work (since Revit MEP was just two years young then).

If you'd like to learn more about this person just send me an EMAIL and I'll connect the dots.

Revit Structure Position Wanted - TX

I was contacted recently by a person with ten years of structural detailing experience. The motivation for making a change is being driven by a desire to get to use Revit Structure. He is convinced that it's the direction he wants to take and he recently chose to undertake and complete a three day training class with ECAD in Houston on his own dime.

If your firm is interested in a motivated (even bi-lingual) guy that will combine his experience with his desire to keep moving forward with technology let me know and I'll make the introduction. He is currently in the greater Houston area and would like to stay in the area but he is open to considering a compelling opportunity elsewhere.

Revit Guru Available - Houston

[Update - He is no longer available]

David Baldacchino recently found himself on the awkward end of the much too frequent conversation for many people in this business, "We're sorry we have to let you go". Rather than dwelling on this as a setback he's looking forward to finding that next great firm. He wants to stay in Houston but he also realizes that a perfect opportunity might lie elsewhere. You can read his own post at his blog Do U Revit? I do.

With his energy, attitude and experience I just can't see him being available for too long. If your firm is looking for the right person to make a difference what are you waiting for?

Freelance Revit Modeling

William writes:

I am an architect with many years of experience on Revit. If you have a Revit or BIM model that you need to provide, and don’t yet have the in-house staff that can do it, let's discuss your needs.

While I am an architect, computers have been a life-long avocation of mine. I won international honors in high school computer-modeling the atmosphere, wrote the first paper at Georgia Tech on the use of computers in architecture offices, taught AutoCAD and AtutoCAD 3-D to myself, and transitioned a 10 person office into it. I bought my first Revit license in 2001, before it was acquired by AutoDesk.

Revit is the future of architectural documentation and will be with us for many decades. If you desire to eventually transition your office into Revit, I am more than happy to use the model as a start of that process, using it as a training vehicle for your employees. Afterwards, you can train them with professional trainers. Then their training won’t be a like a cold shower with a new software technology.

I am not an “I.T. person.” I have decades of experience working with designers and my own designs, putting ideas into real or virtual form. A white-on-white series of my Strathmore models was the centerpiece of an exhibit at a national museum.

Send an EMAIL for information.
