Job Description

Job Purpose:
Ensure the security of the Engineering network by following best practice for network security design.
Job Responsibilities:

Analyze Engineering network designs from a security perspective.
Assist in the design and evaluation of new security solutions.
Develop and document procedures for access control and monitoring device and network access.
Assist in the development and documentation of security policy, standards, procedures and guidelines.
Develop and maintain documentation related to security issues.
Technical liaison with vendors and O&M to ensure delivery of effective security solutions.
Ensure effective logging on Unix and Windows systems (connections, users, commands).
Keep up to date with the latest security alerts, advisories and bulletins.Ensure that best quality practices are followed in all areas of Engineering network security.
Develop and produce reports on the security performance of the Engineering network.
Analyze security reports and produce recommendations for improvement to established security practices and policies.
Maintain a database of Engineering network security vulnerabilities.
Assist in the investigation of network security breaches
