Based in Melbourne, we now have an incredible

opportunity for a Security Manager to join our

team. Reporting into the Head of Security, this

role is responsible for the coordination and

delivery of Tournament security across the

seven Australian Host Cities and Venues. This

will include working closely with police forces

across all States and Territories, Government

major events working groups, emergency

services, security and national interest

departments, to plan and deliver security

arrangements and contingency plans for the

safe and successful staging of the Tournament

in line with international major event protocols

and expectations. This role will also include

assurance and compliance of Host City and

Match venue security plans with ICC anti-

corruption and minimum security guidelines.

To be considered for this role we are looking for

a leader from within the Security Sector

(Government, Policing, Military or Private

Security), with demonstrated experience in

operational planning and risk management.

You should be someone with exceptional

communications skills, who can manage a

close working relationship with the respective

senior Police Officers within Host Cities, Match

venue operators and incumbent security

providers. Ideally you also have demonstrated

experience delivering major event security

operations internationally or domestically, and

have experience with contract security

performance management.



This position is a fixed term contract until

March/April 2015, and offers a great

opportunity to play an important part in

delivering sporting history across Australia and

New Zealand.
