TT at Knox College, IL

Knox College invites application for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor to start September, 2014.  Candidates should have, or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Physics or a related field, and have enthusiasm for teaching all levels of undergraduate Physics and directing undergraduate research; field open.  Candidates should send a curriculum vitae, statements about their teaching and research interests, and arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent to Prof. Thomas Moses, Physics Department, Knox College, Galesburg, IL 61401.  (tmoses@knox.edu) The selection process will begin on December 1 and continue until the position is filled.  The Physics Department is committed to and has a strong record in encouraging students from underrepresented groups, particularly women, to pursue a major in physics, and applications from women and members of other underrepresented groups are especially welcome.
