GATA Crisis Response Team SharpshooterObserver (CRT-S/O) Instructor

Required Experience

Mandatory Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree of equivalent work experience

in the field. Three years subject matter-related

experience may be substituted for 1 year of

education.

Possess experience as a sharpshooter/observer of

Crisis Response team and have at least 10 years'

experience in instruction and operating as a

member of a sharpshooter element.

Certified trainer in the sharpshooter/observer

skillset, with certification from a recognized local,

state, or federal law enforcement institution.

Facilitator certification from a recognized local,

state, or federal law enforcement institution.

Familiar with curriculum design and

development.

Demonstrated management and administrative

experience in the delivery of training.

Possess experience in the development of course

curriculum in the area of special weapons and

tactics within the law enforcement arena.

Graduate of any local, state, or federal law

enforcement academy.

Graduate of any local, state, or federal special

weapons and tactics training school (minimum of

40 hours).

Experienced in advanced tactical training courses

and instruction, including training in

sharpshooter/observer skillset.

Proven abilities with managing training programs

and coordinating logistics associated with

sharpshooter training.
