The Department of Physics and Engineering Physics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physics or related area, postdoctoral experience, and be dedicated to excellence in both teaching and research. Preference will be for an individual with research interests in computational and/or theoretical physics in areas applicable to engineering physics. The University of Tulsa is a privately endowed doctoral granting university of approximately 4,500 students located in a metropolitan population of 960,000. The department, consisting of eight faculty, offers baccalaureate and master’s degrees in Physics and Engineering Physics and a doctoral degree in Physics. Candidates should electronically send a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy, and a research plan (including funding history, if applicable), together with the names and addresses of at least three references to Dr. George P.
