Rider University - For the Fall of 2014 the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry & Physics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. The physics program at Rider is currently in transition and we are seeking an energetic individual who is interested in helping to redevelop the physics program. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in physics or physics-related discipline, strong communication skills, a commitment to both teaching and research in the liberal arts environment, the ability to establish a research program that can engage undergraduates and be able to teach courses in introductory physics with the possibility of teaching elective courses to science majors or non-science majors. Prior teaching experience and post-doctoral research are desirable.
