This is a senior level development position. Interested candidates should have over 10 years of Fortune 500 experience in development of Java/J2EE solutions in a Web and WebSphere environment. This is a great opportunity to join a strong team in a great Chicago area company.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 10 years total experience in development of Java/J2EE solutions in a Web and WebSphere environment with the following technologies: SOAP / RESTFUL based Web Service / JAX-WS / JAX-RPC, Hibernate, Spring/Struts 2, JPA, JMS, AJAX, JSP, JavaScript, JSON, JQuery, and Dojo
- Hands on experience in developing Web Service using Top Down / Bottom Up approach.
- Experienced with IBM WebSphere 6.x or above (RAD / Eclipse) management and configuration
- Strong Web Service integration skills (SOAP, WSDL)
- Skilled using XML / XSD schema, SOAP UI
- Strong experience in application design, design patterns and performance tuning.
- Strong SQL knowledge using Oracle and MS SQL Server.
- Provide timely and accurate estimates for project deliverables
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a very fast paced development organization
- High initiative in working through difficult problems and obstacles
- Flexibility in providing support 24X7
- Ability to work independently and with program teams
- Ability to work on several projects in parallel and meet target timelines
- Technical Lead (Hands on) experience is a plus
