As a Web Developer in our Online Commerce Group, the candidate should be able to:
- Act as a key driver in the development, configuration and modification of onsite content on web sites and applications.
- Set and enforce strong coding standards for XHTML, CSS and JavaScript by collaborating with technical and content functions.
- Produce excellent markup (xhtml, XSL, XSLT) for use in JSP and HTML pages, as well as markup to be used in the implementation of Content Management System (CMS) presentation templates.
- Create new, and modify existing, JavaScript as needed to meet business requirements.
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:
- Front End or User Interface Development with HTML5, HTML, CSS3, CSS, XHTML, Javascript, XSL, XSLT, XML, jQuery, Open Source tools
- Knowledge and passion for utilizing modern technologies and methods to produce amazing web pages
- Hands-on work experience with browser versions, cross-browser compatibility, operating systems as they related to markup methods
- Knowledge of CMS (content management system) tools, a love for web technologies, familiarity with enterprise development processes and standards, Mobile development, iOS, Android, Java, J2EE, .NET JSP, Servlets, etc.
