Besides the technical expertise of Web / Portal Developer: Provides technical direction to programmers. Shows capabilities of performing team leader functions.
Each of the HRSD Portal developer leads will be responsible to lead a team composed of one or more business analysts, developers and QA/testing professionals - including a balanced mix of off-shore and on-shore resources; to solution, develop and deliver front-to-back HR Service Delivery / Self-Service capabilities. Strong hands-on application development using .NET with heavy focus on front-end and loosely-coupled integration experience working with a SharePoint 2010 portal platform and in-depth knowledge of building advanced applications on SP2010 / SP2013 platform.
- 10+ years of experience developing with .NET technologies is essential in Web services, with Java exp. as well
- Experience in Rich Internet Applications, and Local Portlet development & Remore Portlet integration is a MUST
- Experience required with Web Services (REST, WSRP JSR-168 / JSR-286), message-based integration, and fine-grained entitlement management systems.
- Strong background in agile/scrum application development / project management methodologies would be a big plus
- Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management toolset such as "Team Foundation Server" and/or "Rational Team Concert". But, primarily focus is on "Team Foundation Server".
