Job Title: Pastor for Youth

Job Description: Water’s Edge Bible Church is seeking a full time Youth Pastor. The purpose of the position is to bring glory to God as the lives of students and families are changed through Jesus Christ.

Applicant shall have a good grasp and heart-felt embrace of the biblical and theological orientation of the leadership of WEBC as expressed in our Declaration of Faith, and our mission.

The Youth Pastor needs to meet the spiritual and character qualifications of elder as found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9 and to exhibit the fruit of the Spirit as found in Galatians 5:22. He should be a man of prayer and a man of the Word, sensitive to what the Spirit is saying to WEBC. He should devote himself to daily prayer and Bible reading for the sake of guarding himself from sin and stirring up his heart and mind to renewed passion for Christ and, if married, should lead his family in regular times in the Word and prayer.

Successful Youth Pastor Candidate will exhibit: Sufficient gifts, education, and experience to carry out the responsibilities outlined in the full job profile. Demonstrated love for and ability to connect with students and parents from all walks of life – socially, economically, culturally, and ethnically. Passion to make disciples both through outreach to the lost and deepening the faith of the redeemed. Desire and skill to build a team of volunteers; leading and mentoring them; developing them and sharing ministry with them.
