Location: Afghanistan
Duties
Six WTA CIED Freedom of Maneuver (FoM) teams and the four CIED/EOD Leader MTTs will train Afghan National Security Forces in the six corps areas and Capitol Division on Freedom of Maneuver tasks to include the FoM course, Advanced Search, Hand Held Metal Detector, Mine Roller, IED Awareness, CIED Leaders/Staff Training, and EOD Tactics Techniques and Procedures.
•Support Afghan Units throughout the country of Afghanistan.
•Train Afghan units on IED/Bomb disarming and disposal.
•Train Afghans on standards for EOD operations
MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:
•NCO EOD NCO E5 or above.
•Officer Grades O3-O6.
•Should possess a Masters level EOD Certification
•Must have 5 five years operational EOD experience
•OEF/OIF experience desired
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience training Afghan National Security Foces on EOD operations.
