Risk Management Force Protection Technology Operator,and Training/Security Advisor - Afghanistan

Location: Afghanistan

Force Protection Technology Operators and Training / Security Advisor qualifications:
Must be a United States Expatriate and possess at least an active SECRET clearance.
Must have a Military/Police background or equivalent training, and have served in insecure areas.
Must be qualified on primary weapons e.g. 9mm, 5.56mm, 7.62mm caliber.
Must have knowledge of Afghan culture and traditions.
Must have documented ability to perform Duties and Responsibilities as follows:

Responsible for operating and maintaining Force Protection technologies such as Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT) and Handheld Interagency Identity Detection Equipment (HIIDE) Equipment, Zero Backscatter Van (ZBV) non-intrusive inspection (NII) scanning system, and various types of camera and similar systems (i.e. CERBERUS System).


Serve as on-site training, advising, and mentoring staff to the APPF base Security Force.
Provide security assessment services such as an Assessment of the health and welfare of the APPF Guard, an assessment of site security and capacity of existing staff, assessment of force protection layout, security contingency planning, and site vulnerability assessment and mitigation planning.

Contract is for one year, with two one year options. Rotation is 3 months in, one month out.

This position is contingent upon contract award.
