The Team: Global Operations Financial Planning and Analysis
The Global Operations Financial Planning and Analysis (Global Ops FP&A) team serves as a partner organization with our manufacturing operations organization. Our role is to implement and manage financial processes that support the operational business decisions; such as forecasting, analytics, strategic operations planning, scenario analysis, inventory planning, risk assessment and management reporting. The business environment continues to evolve over time and the operations organization is continually trying to find ways to improve processes to keep pace with these changes. The Operations FP&A finance team plays a critical role in supporting these improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for an astute finance professional to lead our Global Operations Financial Planning and Analysis team who will be responsible for forecasting, strategic operations planning, analytics, and management reporting. The ideal candidate would have an interest as well as some exposure to manufacturing operations and the metrics that help drive improvements. You will have management oversight and will also be a key contributor in analyzing financial metrics associated with our manufacturing operations, gross margin improvement initiatives, inventory management and materials cost reduction, and operations headcount planning. Someone comfortable employing statistical rigor to further enhance the data analysis is an added plus. You will also be instrumental in regional manufacturing site benchmarking and sharing of best practices globally across sites. This position will have 2-3 direct reports and access to financial analysts in regional manufacturing sites for additional support. A successful candidate will be a top performer, who has a passion to champion positive change throughout the organization, enabling high visibility for the candidate throughout the company.

Essential Functions:
Become a true business partner requested by others in the company as a technical expert to participate as a consultative team member on broad or complex business issues, integrating operational and financial expertise/experience
 Influence priorities for the operations team to ensure alignment with the Company’s financial and strategic goals
Lead gross margin analytics and COGS and inventory management improvement efforts
Identify and address largest process improvement opportunities across all manufacturing sites globally
Drive improvements in our financial planning models, systems and reports.

Skill Requirements:
Candidate should possess a demonstrated track record of strong analytical skills with deep technical expertise in financial modeling including ROI, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow based techniques using Excel as well as a basic understanding of operational modeling
Superior ability to integrate operational issues and financial concepts and data into compelling plans and actions and inspire others to successfully achieve them
Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to distill large amounts of data into coherent summary written and oral presentations with appropriate context including priority and risk
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
Demonstrated ability to establish and quickly build relationships throughout an organization, including at remote locations
Strong leadership and influencing skills with a sense of urgency and results orientation a must
Ability to work, design and execute both strategically and operationally while being pragmatic
A creative and flexible approach to changing business requirements and not afraid to roll-up one’s sleeves and dive in to get the job done.

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA Preferred
Experience with SAP/ BPC
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Operation Finance and FP&A background in the high tech hardware area

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 10 years of experience or equivalent
OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 7 years of experience or equivalent
