Myer is a market leader in Australian retailing with stores growing nationally, employing over 12,000 people across Australia and is famous for its great range of international, national and private brands.We are currently seeking a highly dedicated and passionate individual to lead the NSW Loss Prevention team and manage all Loss Prevention requirements in the NSW Region.

Based in Roselands in Sydney's south, and reporting to the National Security and Loss Prevention Manager, the Regional Security & Loss Prevention Manager plays a critical role in identifying and maximising opportunities that support the delivery of the Myer National Loss Prevention Strategy.

You will play a key role in the NSW leadership group, including Store Operations, as well as working collaboratively with your peers in other Regions. In this role, you will lead your team to implement and maintain loss prevention initiatives that will deliver a best practice loss prevention advice and support service to Myer.

Major responsibilities of the role include:

· Provide leadership to the regional loss prevention team

· Implement and maintain key strategies and programs in relation to crime resolution, loss prevention and shrinkage management tactics

· Deliver a centralised, technically proficient loss prevention and crime resolution service across region of accountability

· Align performance of the regional loss prevention team to ensure compliance with policy and procedure, and high standards of work in all areas

· Review existing business strategies, policies, procedures and standards to provide recommendations for loss reduction and protection of Myer assets

· Support stores in shrinkage management through the provision of operational loss prevention resources and subject matter expertise

· Conduct loss prevention training and education to key stakeholders

· Deliver the respective region's loss prevention budget

· Identify crime trends and operational risk exposures to assist in the development of functional strategies and tactics

To be successful in this role, ideally you will possess:
· A minimum of 5 years experience leading and managing a team of specialist investigators, ideally within a retail environment

· Strong working knowledge of investigations, case management, HR/IR processes, and criminal law

· Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline, and/or equivalent work experience

· Professional certification (CPP, CFE) and hold the relevant security licence

· Strong working knowledge of security solutions

· Ability to align loss prevention principles & practices with business strategy
