Job Title: Product Engineer
Location: Milpitas, CA
Duration: Fulltime
Responsibilities:
Results oriented and driven to excel. Enjoys teaching, troubleshooting, working with groups of people, and explaining complex things as simply as possible. Strong analytic and data analysis skills. Assess system electronics, software, and mechanics with respect to design for reliability, stability, and serviceability. Experience with LabView SW, data acquisition systems, precision sensors (accelerometers, displacement, temperature, interferometers), scopes and 3D CAD SW (preferably Pro/Engineer). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams and to take a leadership role when needed. Quick grasp of challenging, complex technical information. Help develop and document maintenance, troubleshooting, and part replacement procedures. Gather and analyze data from the field to identify sources of systematic issues. Write technical reports to communicate issues, analysis, technical assessments, system status, and engineering recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
BS required (MS preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Software or related technical field. Hands-on experience designing, building, documenting and/or troubleshooting electro/mechanical assemblies. Through knowledge of atmospheric robots and good understanding of electronics, software, and wafer handling subsystems. Solid mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design principles, machine elements, materials, fabrication methods. Availability for travel both domestically and internationally (<25% time). Ability to work non-standard working hours if needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience.
OR
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience.
