Associate Director for STEM Education at Stanford

Associate Director (hiring two Associate Directors)We invite applications for two Associate Director positions to support specific, discipline-based efforts within a subset of social sciences and STEM departments and Schools. Each Associate Director will provide leadership and strategic direction for their respective teaching and learning programs; continually assess needs; and appropriately initiate, maintain, or expand relevant, discipline-specific resources. As a member of a highly collaborative CTL professional team, the Associate Director contributes to a broad range of campus teaching and learning efforts and partnerships, with specific management responsibility for selected programs and projects.

Minimum qualifications include a doctoral degree in social sciences or one of the STEM fields, evidence of excellent university-level teaching, and experience managing complex programs and projects. Highly desired are experience in faculty and/or graduate student teaching development and student advising/mentoring.
