Job Description:
The Wafer Inspection Division (WIN) of KLA-Tencor designs and manufactures systems that are used for capturing yield-impacting defects at the front-end-of-line (FEOL) and the back-end-of-line (BEOL). A successful candidate will be joining a world leader in wafer inspection products and technologies designing and manufacturing the next generation of products.

 

Responsibilities:

The Wafer Inspection Division (WIN) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in our Milpitas, California campus. You will be responsible planning and developing SW solutions for our end customers for our next generation semiconductor wafer inspection machines.

You will be working in cross functional teams and be hands-on during the entire product development cycle. You will have opportunity in participating in all stages of software development starting from requirement analysis to deployment and even visit customer sites if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

1) Experience with object oriented software analysis & design in C++/C#

2) Excellent communication skills, inter personnel skills and leadership skills.

3) Good understanding of general SW principles and product life cycle.

4) Able to conduct technical presentations and articulate use cases/solutions.

5) Requires knowledge of multi-threaded/parallel processing applications.

6) Semiconductor equipment industry experience, system control and/or image/data processing experience a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate (Academic) with at least 2 years of experience.

OR

Master's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience.

OR

Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
