Currently we are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic and confident person to help undertake our expanding education commitments. Duties of the role include presenting scheduled education talks to our visitors; presenting talks to schools and bespoke groups; to man the education centres; to provide guided walks with small groups; to deliver our experience days; and to engage in our outreach programme which provides educational talks at various external venues.

This role also requires the applicant to support the Supervisor in the management and coordination of a team of 6 education officers.  This team covers both Howletts & Port Lympne Parks to ensure the highest levels of conservation education. Also required is an extensive knowledge of exotic wildlife and global conservation issues.

The role is split between the parks so the successful candidate will be required to work at both.  Candidates must therefore have a full valid driving license and their own transport.

Working 40 hours per week on a five day rota basis, candidates must be prepared to work weekends and public holidays.  A full job specification is available on our website.
