Substitute Children’s Librarian - Russell Library, Middletown. Join an exciting and energized Children’s Services Team. Russell Library needs qualified substitutes for our busy Children’s Department. You will be actively involved in reader’s advisory and reference and occasionally assist with programming. Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Library Science and a genuine desire to work with children of all ages. Strong reference and reader’s advisory skills and comfort with a variety of computer software programs are required, as is knowledge of children’s literature and child development in terms of age-appropriate activities and behaviors.
