Job Title: Manager Business Development

Job Description:
Corporate Business Development. Working at the corporate level to investigate and stimulate new growth business opportunities both inside and outside of the KT core businesses.
1.Work with a small team of executives in analyzing new markets and businesses where KLA can apply its core capabilities.
2.Research and understand product lines, applications, and competitive dynamics of current players in the new market.
3.Research new markets (for KLA) and query customers for their needs and how their needs are currently being met.
4.Develop presentations of analysis and educate other KT employees and executives.
5.Analyze technology and IP positions of market players.
6.Analyze financial performance of new market players and develop financial models for new business opportunities.
7.Help define products for organic or joint development projects based on application research.
Education and Experience:
1.Technical product development experience in a competitive environment with a clear understanding of financial and engineering implications of product de1velopment and strategy
2.Technical background in physics, chemistry, biology or electrical engineering with significant business exposure and experience.
3.Experience in Life Science Tools / Business development are desired.
4.Contract and Transaction experience valuable, but are secondary qualifications.
Basic Qualification:
1.Bachelor's Level Technical Degree with at least 5 years of experience in a business environment. Or, equivalent. Life Science and Analytical instruments business areas desired.
2.Masters or PhD technical degree or Business Administration degree are desired.
