Reference and Instruction Librarian - Start Date: Late August 2012. Job Status: Faculty full-time (40 hours) academic year. The Katharine Brush Library at The Loomis Chaffee School is searching for a dynamic, progressive, and technology oriented Reference and Instruction Librarian. One of three professional librarians, the Reference and Instruction Librarian will assume the primary responsibility of coordinating a library instruction and information literacy program, including information literacy curriculum development and student assessment. The Loomis Chaffee School is a four-year, coeducational, college-preparatory boarding school located on a 300-acre campus in historic Windsor, CT. Chartered in 1874 by five siblings who had outlived all of their children, the school embodies their democratic and inclusive vision.
