World Owl Trust
The World Owl Trust, a Registered Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee, is seeking a dynamic, motivated person with enough vision and drive to develop and build on its existing and on-going successes and implement its plans for further growth and development.
The Trust has been in existence for 40 years and is recognised as the world’s leading global owl conservation organisation. It currently works with the assistance of 17 Overseas Representatives who keep it informed of conservation issues in their own countries. Its headquarters are at historic Muncaster Castle on the western fringes of the English Lake District where it has created the first-ever owl conservation-breeding centre to open its doors to both the general public and specialist alike. The World Owl Centre is now considered ‘Mecca’ for owl enthusiasts and researchers everywhere and attracts many thousands of visitors every year.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience and a proven record in the running and development of a business organization and its income streams.
Salary: £30,000 pa.
