Corporate Revenue Manager Texas USA

Job with privately owned hotel development and management company with 14 hotels in Oklahoma and North Texas. We currently have several projects under construction and in the development phase.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as Corporate Revenue Manager. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify revenue problems & opportunities with sufficient lead time to positively impact revenues.

Find new ways to effectively generate revenues without increasing costs.

Deal effectively with people, create teamwork, take charge, generate enthusiasm, motivate by using an uplifting and lead-by-example leadership approach.

Ensure a strategic mix of business and pricing strategies are set for each hotel based on market conditions to maximize revenue and profitability.

Continuous analysis of competitive sets, price positioning, seasonality and mix.

Manage property participation & production through Third Party Internet sites and other distribution channels (CRO, GDS, Hotel website, & Travel Agency Consortiums).

Assist in developing annual property Sales and Marketing Plans and Revenue Budgets.

Teach and coach company managers to strive for room's revenue forecasts to be accurate within 5%.

Conduct Weekly Revenue Management Meetings with each hotel.

Prepare hotel performance reports for senior management with expected and quantifiable results.

Ensure ongoing reservation sales training with property Front Office and Reservation Sales staffs.

Lead annual Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

Lead annual rate extension and loading process.

SKILLS:

In-depth knowledge of transient, group and catering customer segments.

Excellent personal management skills; time management, meet deadlines, effective communication and presentation skills.

Must possess superior analytical skills.

Sound knowledge of hotel revenue management concepts, processes and systems.

Understands brand strategies and cultures.

Develop strong relationships through frequent communication and use of professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal interaction.

Conduct research, surveys, personal investigation and study market places in order to effectively capitalize on the hotel's strengths and competitor's weaknesses.

Focus on revenue-producing activities and maximize time.

Act with integrity & professionalism, service-focused approach, and caring, sincere attitude at all times.

Exhibit positive and involved team attitude to all hotel departments and maintain open communications with all co-workers for best overall performance of hotels.

FUNCTION REQUIREMENTS:

Proven revenue management experience and knowledge of advanced revenue management techniques.

Excellent knowledge of Holidex Plus, HIRO, ONQ R&I and ONQ RMS. Excellent understanding of STR, Market Vision, Hotelligence, Opera, ONQ, Hilton Net, and Profit Manager reports.

Requires highly developed customer service skills.

Requires effective business writing skills.

Set and manage priorities and plan activities in advance.

Solve problems and make sound business decisions.

Respond to coaching, feedback and training.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance and or 4 years experience in hospitality industry and market trends as they relate to revenue opportunities.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated ability to drive revenue, knowledge of effective hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimization and selling strategies, and ability to determine which concepts to apply in given market conditions. Demonstrated experience in industry training.
