CAD/BIM Coordinator - Maryland

We are currently seeking a CAD/BIM Coordinator. The CAD/BIM Coordinator will be a member of the Design team, contributing billable work to projects in his or her discipline, while serving as the company’s CAD/BIM Subject Matter Expert.

Responsibilities: (will include, but not be limited to)
  • Serving as a member of project teams in the appropriate discipline.
  • Serving as Subject Matter Expert for CAD and BIM within the company.
  • Identifying and providing user training.
  • Managing annual CAD/ BIM budget and planning.
  • Providing project specific CAD/BIM review.
  • Working with IT to establish and implement processes, QC procedures, and standards related to CAD, BIM and related software.
  • Overseeing maintenance and updating of CAD/ BIM resource library.
  • Working with IT to evaluate new software and technology 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years experience in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Expert level of knowledge of BIM process.
  • Expert level of knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Architecture, Civil 3D, and MicroStation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience overseeing CAD and/or BIM with an A&E firm
  • Some familiarity with federal government or military projects or programs
  • Familiarity with Bentley BIM
  • LEED AP

Project Architect - AZ & MD

Michael Anderson of Leadmark Group is representing the following opportunity.

We are currently seeking an experienced project architect to work on one of the region’s premier higher education and research facilities.

Role:
The Project Architect works with the Senior Project Manager or Design Director in the development of design concepts, and coordinate concepts with the work of other architects, engineers and technicians which are incorporated into a final deliverable.

Responsibilities:
Works on all aspects of architectural projects. • May focus in Project Management, Design, Construction Documents, Technical Specifications, Construction Administration aspects of Project Delivery • Performs a variety of complex tasks and may be oversee work on minor projects. • Selects, evaluates, and implements procedures and techniques used on projects. • Prepares and submits reports, studies, drawings and/or specifications as requested. • Assist the Senior Architect in developing project man-hours and planning schedule for his/her phases of the project. • Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:
Familiar with architectural concepts, practices, procedures, final documents, specifications, materials and construction practices. • Architectural Registration preferred • LEED accreditation required within 12 months • CSI certification encouraged- CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) as the preliminary test followed by CCS (Certified Construction Specifier) and the CCCA (Certified Construction Contract Administrator). • Proficient in Revit

Education & Experience:
B.Arch or Masters or equivalent.
Five+ years related experience and/or training.
