Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in introductory algebra-based and calculus-based Physics courses plus laboratories. These courses include topics in mechanics, heat, waves, sounds, electricity and magnetism, light, optics, and related laboratories. Preference will be given to candidates with interest and experience in teaching both to non-science and science majors. Appointee will be expected to coordinate multi-section courses, with participating full and part-time faculty colleagues. | |
Applicants must have a Ph.D in Physics , Engineering, or a related field. | |
Applicants must have college-level teaching experience, with undergraduate teaching experience preferred. | |
Priority will be given to candidates with strong skills and experience in teaching. In that context, preference will be given to candidates with interest and experience in teaching a diverse population of students and using computers and advanced technology to enhance the educational experience of students. | |
