Ammunition Manager , Kuwait

Employer: Jacobs Technology

Location: Kuwait





Minimum of two (2) years college or

vocational training in area of specialty

plus ten (10) years relevant experience,

or any equivalent combination of

education/ experience for total of twelve

(12) years.

Minimum of 5 years of Theater/

Operational level Conventional

Ammunition Management experience, to

include the distribution and

accountability of ammunitions.

Minimum of 10 years of technical

experience with ammunition

management and theater distribution.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows,

Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel,

Outlook).

Proficient in SAAS-MOD Operations,

procedures and practices, to include

maintenance of SAAS-MOD connectivity,

processing of Daily Cycles and Reports,

support of normal inventory operations,

and proper accountability of stocks.

Ability to communicate effectively to

senior level leaders.



Knowledge on the Total Ammunition

Management System and understanding

of the associated programming, funding,

manufacturing, distribution and storage

systems to project, monitor and resolve

problems with ammunition resources.

DoD Contractor Employees traveling to

theater must be medically (to include

dental) and psychologically fit for

deployment. Fitness includes, but is not

limited to: the ability to accomplish the

tasks and duties unique to a particular

operation and ability to tolerate the

environmental and operational conditions

of the deployed location. Minimum

standards of fitness include ability to

wear ballistic and respiratory protective

equipment, chemical and biological

personal protective equipment, and use

of required prophylactic medications.

Screening must be performed pre-

deployment and annually to insure

immunization compliance, absence of

infectious disease, and fit for deployment.

Protection and Individual Unit

Deployment Policy applies. May be

required to be housed in group housing.

An inside and outside environment

(Considerations are close quarters, dim or

bright lighting, temperature

fluctuations). Combination of inside

(office, workshop) and outside working

conditions. Environmental conditions

could include extreme heat and/or cold,

dusty, windy, and wet conditions.

Hazards on job and unusual

environmental conditions may exist in

desert environment. This position may be

deployed to hazardous locations such as

Iraq, Afghanistan, or Kuwait.

Office equipment which is typically

computer, fax, printer, and telephone.

Could also include a combination of hand

tools, machine tools, material handling

equipment, heavy equipment and all-

terrain vehicles.



Must be available to work normal

deployment hours which could include

12 hour days, 7 days a week. Attendance

is important but not necessarily critical,

except for deadlines and meetings. Must

exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust

to surge situations based on critical

mission requirements.
