Job Description: Preaching at Sunday morning service, counseling, teaching, administering baptism and the Lord’s supper, conducting weddings and funerals, visitation, consistent prayer for the congregation, and regular communication with those in the congregation

Candidate Description:
Essential Characteristics:
Mature believer in Christ, meeting the biblical standards for pastors set forth in I Timothy 3:1-7.
Strongly committed in his speech and life to serving Christ.
Must agree to the Grace Bible Church constitution and statement of faith; and have an unwavering, thoughtful belief in the Bible as the inspired, inerrant word of God, our standard for belief and practice. (II Timothy 3:15,16)
Loves God’s people, is slow to anger, and lives to “serve and protect” the congregation.
Believes in, and practices, transparency and openness in the conduct of church business.
Vision for ministry outreach.Other Characteristics/Considerations:
Must have another source of income.
Minimum education:  Bible School or Seminary.
Experience:  prefer an ordained, Bible School or seminary graduate, but would consider a licensed minister with pastoral experience.
May desire to use the church annex (recently remodeled) for a parsonage.
